PAVAKKAI MASALA(bittergourd masala)

PAVAKKAI MASALA:



INGREDIENTS:

serves - 2 to 3

pavakkai(bitter gourd) - 1 big (cut into small slices)
tomato - 1 medium(finely chopped)
onion - 1 large(finely chopped)

green chilly - 1 (finely chopped)
chilli powder - 1/2 tablespoon(as per ur taste)
coriander powder - 1/2 tablespoon
turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
curd - 2 tablespoon(well beaten)
water - 5 to 6 tablespoon
oil - 1 tablespoon
salt - to taste




PROCEDURE :

1. Place a pan in the stove and put oil into it.when it s hot,add the chopped onion n green chillies.
    saute nicely for 2 to 3 mins.
2. Then add the chopped tomatoes,turmeric powder and chilli powder one by one and saute nicely for 3 to 4  
    mins.
3. Add the bitter gourd(pavakkai) slices and mix nicely.
4. Then add the well beaten curd and water into it..finally add some salt to taste and mix nicely.
5. keep the stove in low flame and close the pan for the bitter gourd to be cooked.
6. open after 10 mins to serve your pavakkai masala.
