PALKOVA (milk sweet)



INGREDIENTS:

milk - 1 litre
sugar - 3/4 cup (as per taste)
ghee/butter - 5 tablespoon
lime juice - 5 to 6 tablespoon

PROCEDURE :

1. Boil the milk nicely.(for 15 to 20 min with occasional stirring).
2. Add the lime juice to the milk. (the milk and water gets seperate at this stage).
3. Keep stirring continuous till the water evaporates and the kova becomes thick.
4. At this stage,add ghee and sugar to it.(if u wish,u can add little more ghee and sugar as per your taste)
5. Keep stirring nicely until the palkova consistency is attained.
6. Garnish with nuts or saffron.
7. Cool it and serve.
